honeycutt_05_17_13My name is Honeycutt and I am many things. I am a painter and a poet. I am a red horse. I am a rescue horse. I am a champion bucker. I am a blogger. But there is one thing that I am not: I am not a pointy horse. This is a good thing because pointy horses are very sad, and we don’t want for there to be any pointy horses at all. I am what you would call a round horse. I love hays and tasty, tasty grain, and when the time has come for eating, I take my responsibilities very seriously.

My friend Jay is bigger than me in the up and down direction, but when you compare us side to side, I am much bigger and rounder than he is. Jay is not so serious about eating. In fact sometimes it seems like he would rather play with his hays than eat them. Mom scolds him all the times because he likes to take his food outside, but he just looks at her with big brown eyes and then she gives him more food to eat. Sometimes I try to help Jay by eating his hays when I am done with my hays. I help Chance and Chip this way too. But then Mom sees that I am very big and round, and now I am on a diet. Do you know this thing? Diet is when you get to eat your hays, but you can’t help your friends eat their hays. Diet is when you have your own little area and you have to stay in your area alone when it is time for eating. I hate diet very very much.
