Jay gets so mad sometimes. Like when Mom goes into his little house to pick up his poos or move his feed bowl back inside. He’s happy when she comes into his little house, but when she goes back out and shuts the door, he gets so mad! He pins his ears and makes a mad face. Mom usually laughs at him, but I think she secretly feels good knowing that Jay doesn’t want her to leave, ever.
But today I noticed something. The door to Jay’s little house slides to the left to become open and to the right to become closed. When the door is open, it blocks the window to Jay’s little house, so that there is no more window at all. But when the door closes, the window reappears, and then Mom can reach into the window and fill Jay’s bowl with tasty, tasty grain.
When I saw this, I said to myself, “Oh Self, this door and window thing is a lot like LIFE is sometimes!” Because when the door closes, the window opens and tasty, tasty grain can come through!
So remember, sometimes you see a door close and that makes you mad. But don’t pin your ears and make a mad face, because maybe a window has now opened that was closed before and maybe something good will come through that window!
On the other hand, I’m just a horse, so I really don’t know much about philosophy.
