Tonight I got this letter:
Dear Honeycutt,
I was reading your blog and came across the pictures of you painting. I was very impressed with your wonderful painting, and it made me want to do a little art as well. I hope you enjoy the picture of you showing off your painting I did. I did it on my ipad, which is a little like finger painting, or in your case muzzle painting.
Best wishes of lots of tasty grains,
Sara
Under the letter was a picture that looked just like this:
When I saw this picture, I couldn’t say anything for many minutes. Mom says that is because I am awe-struck by this beautiful picture that my friend Sara made of me. The picture is a painting of me painting a painting! The most wonderful thing about this picture is that Sara even drew in the paint that was on my ear that day! I love my picture so much and I am very awe-struck that Sara made such a wonderful picture of me. I want to hug her and say thank you but she is not here right now so all I can do is run around in the dark a little bit and be happy about my picture.
I think I will ask Mom to hang my new picture in the barn where I can see it every day. Thank you, Sara, you are a great artist like me and I am honored to be in your picture.
