A clean eye is like fundraising!
Mom is obsessed with clean horse eyes. Whenever she is near a horse with eye boogers, she simply must remove them. Being a horse who makes a lot of eye boogers, it means that Mom is constantly trying to touch my face, and I am not so fond of having my face touched. But when it comes to eye boogers, she insists on picking them off, and I have to admit that once they’re gone, it does feel better.
Picking off eye boogers is kind of like asking for dollars for SAFE. Needing more dollars is a thing that comes back every single day, just like eye boogers! So every single day, me and Mom have to be asking for more dollars. We wish there were no eye boogers, and we wish we didn’t have to ask for dollars every day…but skinny horses, like eye boogers, are there every day and need to be taken care of every day. We don’t like to always be asking for dollars. It’s gross, like picking off eye boogers. But when you give us some dollars, you do feel better. That is how asking for dollars is like picking off eye boogers.
But today I have something to ask my friends that’s not like eye boogers at all! It’s more like giving me a tasty treat! There is a thing called a contest, and the winners of the contest get so many dollars! These dollars come from a huge financial institution called Chase, which got a thing called Bailout (do you know this thing?) and they are giving dollars to small non-profits by having this contest.
