Mom’s porpoise in life is worrying about SAFE. That is her job which she does inside her little house. A lot of mornings Mom will put on her big boots and come out to see us horses. It’s not for feeding us because we have already gotten our breakfast at this point. Most of the times, Mom will make us all get out of the barn and play together in a big group. Mom closes the stall doors because two horses are not allowed in one stall, and we often forget this. Today Mom came out and did what I just said, and then she started to scoop up our poos (which she usually does just before dinner time). Jay and the Big Baby ran off together to jump around and face-box, but I stayed in the paddock with Mom.

Well pretty soon Mom noticed that I was looking into the Big Baby’s stall and she came over to look too. The Big Baby left hays in his stall! He did not finish his breakfast! Mom said Oh Honeycutt! Those hays belong to Chance, you already ate yours! She turned and walked away and then very suddenly — but not so suddenly that it would be scary — she came back and went in the stall and got the hays! She put them out of the stall so I could eat them. This was a very nice thing that Mom did for me, even if I did had to share the extra hays with Jay. (Jay came back as soon as he saw I was eating these hays.)

Mom did something else even nicer for me today and that is that she made me my own website! She said that it did not take her very long to make this website, but I love my new website because it is the color of me and grass! Now that I have my own website, I can post many more blog posts here without having to think maybe I’m saying too much stuff on the SAFE site. I have many thoughts to share, even though they are mostly about eating and food.

Thank you Mom!
